Counselling Services
Counselling provides a supportive, collaborative and confidential space to explore life's challenges, better understand thoughts, emotions and experiences, and develop strategies that support emotional wellbeing.
My approach is person-centred and trauma-informed. I work alongside each individual to build on their strengths, recognise the impact of lived experiences, and support meaningful change at a pace that feels right for them.
What is Counselling?
Counselling can provide support with a range of experiences and challenges, including:
Areas of Support
✓ Anxiety and stress
✓ Emotional regulation
✓ Trauma and adverse life experiences
✓ Recovery from abuse and interpersonal harm
✓ Disability-related challenges
✓ Self-esteem and confidence
✓ Adjustment to life changes
✓ Mindfulness and emotional wellbeing
✓ Building resilience and coping strategies
✓ Personal growth
Every person's experiences are unique, which is why I tailor counselling to each individual's needs and goals.
My practice is grounded in compassion, curiosity and collaboration, recognising that healing and growth occur within safe and supportive relationships. I draw upon a range of evidence-informed approaches to create therapy that is flexible, practical and meaningful.
My Counselling Approach
Counselling doesn't always have to take place in a traditional therapy setting. I offer home and community-based sessions, including nature-based counselling and therapeutic walks for those who feel more comfortable connecting outdoors. My approach is guided by what feels safe, comfortable and meaningful for each person.
Counselling services may be available through eligible NDIS funding, depending on individual circumstances. Private referrals are also welcome.
